So, what is a hybrid? 

The hybrid is a garment that combines materials in such a way that they work together to provide the very best environment and protection for the user. 
Warmth and windproofness is needed most around the torso – where the cold is felt most keenly. Flexibility is required on the arms and down the sides of the body, especially important in the golf swing where full, free movement is essential.

The arms and sides are made of a soft fleece incorporating a large amount of stretch to ensure a full range of movement. The inside is brushed to capture and hold heat for longer to help keep you warm at lower temperatures.
